When her husband was diagnosed with an incurable form of blood cancer, she used the voice she had found online to educate her audience about blood cancer signs and symptoms and the importance of being on a stem cell register. She is now an ambassador for DKMS UK and has raised thousands of pounds for the charity by sky diving, abseiling, running a 10k and this year she is planning a bungee jump.
